Nagu ma siin mainisin, siis on mul plaan Panorama testi teha. Ma polnud sellest enne midagi kuulnud, aga Šois tõi selle jutuks ja nõnda mul see otsus peas valmis küpseski, et selle rasedusega on mul huvi seda teha küll. Selles suhtes, et see ei ole mulle küll näidustatud, aga seoses kogu selle raseduse alguse protseduuri ja täisnarkoosiga kuluks mulle natukene meelerahu ära küll.
Kes ei tea, mis see Panorama test on, siis kopeerisin natukene infot ultraheli.ee leheküljelt:
Panorama test on mitteinvasiivne sünnieelne ema veres loote rakuvälise DNA uuringul põhinev turvaline ja täpne kromosoomihaiguste skriiningtest, mida on võimalik teostada alates üheksandast rasedusnädalast. Vastuse saad 14. päeva möödudes.
Panorama test tunneb ära 99% Downi sündroomiga, Edwardsi sündroomiga, Patau sündroomiga ja Turneri sündroomiga loodetest. Momendil on Panorama ainus test maailmas mis võimaldab hinnata kromosomaalse patoloogia Triploidia olemasolu.
Vaatamata sellele, et test on väga täpne, pole Panorama puhul tegemist diagnostilise testiga, mistõttu positiivse Panorama testi korral on vajalik diagnoosi täpsustamiseks teostada invasiivne uuring (koorioni biopsia või lootevee uuring). Panorama test on täiesti turvaline nii Sinule kui ka Sinu lootele ning testi teostamine ei ohusta mingilgi määral rasedust. Skriiningtest tehakse Sinu veeniverest.
Test on suhteliselt igal pool sama hinnaga, aga kuna ITKs on see 10€ odavam ja ma pean nagunii minema sinna verd andma, siis otsustasin enda mugavuse pärast sinna minna. Kuigi jah, hinna suhtes väga vahet ei ole. Igatahes pidin ma juba sel nädalal vere ära andma, aga siis sain ma teada, et kuigi igal pool on kirjas, et seda saab teha 9dast nädalast, siis soovitatakse oodata kümnenda nädalani, et siis on testi tulemused täpsemad.
Ega ma vastu puike, kui on vaja oodata siis on, ega natukene enam siia-sinna ei ole kaua oodata ka. Muidugi kui ma oleks punkt 9dal nädalal ära andnud, siis oleks ma juba järgmise nädala lõpuks tulemused teada saanud, aga nüüd saan ma vere antud 18dal ja kõige varem vastused kätte 27daks. Võimalik ka, et alles mai alguses. Aga nagu öeldud, vahet pole, jõuan oodata küll.
Küll aga on selle testi suur boonus see, et lapse soo saab palju täpsemini teada kui ultrahelis. Ja arvestades, et ma eelmine kord käisin 12dal nädalal Šoisi juures sugu teada saamas ja see maksis 185+ pluss veel UH pildi eest ka lisa kümps, siis oleksin ma ka seekord sama vara tahtnud sugu teada ja selle 200 nagunii magama pannud. Ja noh, kui me selle ülejäänud 400 jagame järelejäänud 7 kuu peale ära, siis ei tee see test niiöelda igakuiselt üldse väga suurt summat, mida südamerahu eest maksta. Aga jah, eks see oleneb ikka enda rahakotist ja huvidest. Paljud raudselt ei tahagi sellist testi teha, ega ma ka eelmiste rasedustega tahtnud. Või olgem ausad, ma isegi ei teadnud sellest midagi.
Ütleme siis nii, et mai alguses saan ma soo teada. Äge! Ma ei suudaks iial seda “üllatuslapse” värki teha, lihtsalt never :D! Liiga kannatamatu olen. Ma tahan ikka nime mõelda ja ise ka niiöelda ette valmistuda. Ja minu õnneks ei saa sugu mind pettuma ka panna – mul pole väga vahet. Mari oodates oli mul kindel soov saada tütart – sain. Lendega ma alguses tahtsin vist isegi korraks poega, aga lihtsalt selle pärast, et poega mul ju veel ei olnud. Aga nüüd vaatan ma oma kahte tütart ja mõtlen, et ega kolm ka paha poleks. Ma olen õnnelik nii kolmanda tütre, kui ka esimese poja üle. Tulgu, mis tuleb!
Küll läheb juba maru tüütuks see “loodame, et seekord on ikka poiss!” jutt. Ma ei tea, mis mu tütardel häda on, et inimesed nii kangesti seda poega mulle peale pressivad. Ma lihtsalt ütlen ära, et see on kuidagi nii nõme, nagu mu tütred oleks jube ebameeldivad ja vastikud inimesed, et pool eestit nüüd palvetab, et see nõiasugu ükskord jätkumise lõpetaks ja poeg siia perre lunastust sünniks tooma :D Päris ausalt – minul on suva ja Kardol ka, aga kui me valida saaks, siis võtaks ikkagi tütre. Harjumuspäraselt, või nii.
Aga nimede suhtes olen ma nii palju mõelnud, et ma seekord olen targem ja panen lapsele ainult ühe nime, sest arvestades seda, et ma Mari Johannat iial nii pole kutsunud (ma arvan, et ta isegi ei tea, et ta nimi Johanna ka on :D) ja Lende Liisi pole ma ka kunagi nii hüüdnud, siis võin ma nüüd leppida sellega, et üks nimi per laps on piisav. Aga pähe tulevad ikka ainult tüdrukute nimed :D Üks nimi kummitab kohe eriti, ta jäi mul Lende ajast kasutamata, sest mingi kõik peale minu vihkasid seda, aga näete, mulle meeldib siiamaani…
Like I’ve told you I am planning on getting the Panorama test done. I hadn’t heard anything about it before but Šois brought it up and that’s how I hatched the plan to go get it done with this pregnancy. I mean, I am not the target group for it, but with how this pregnancy started and the anesthesia I could use an ounce of peace of mind.
Who doesn’t know what the Panorama test is, I will copy a little information from ultraheli.ee page:
Panorama test is a non-invasive pre-birth, that is based on the DNA research of the fetus, done through the mother’s blood. It’s a safe and accurate chromosome disease screening test, which can be done from pregnancy week 9. The results will be available after 14 days
Panorama test can identify Down, Edward’s, Patau and Turner syndromes with 99% accuracy. At the moment the Panorama test is the only test in the world that is capable of detecting Triploidy chromosome pathology.
Despite the test begin very accurate it’s no ta diagnostic measure, so when the test is positive an invasive (biopsy or placenta testing) needs to be done. Panorama test is completely harmless to both you and the baby and taking the test has no effect on the pregnancy. Screening will be done through blood from your vein.
Test costs the same amount pretty much everywhere, it is 10€ cheaper in ITK and since I have to go give blood there anyway I decided to take the test there for my own comfort. Although the price wouldn’t make a big difference. Anyway I thought I would go give blood this week, but then I found out that although all the info says the test can be taken from week 9, it’s suggested to wait until the tenth week, because then the results are more accurate.
I was not against waiting, it’s just a little bit longer. Of course had I given blood on the 9th week I would’ve had the results by the end of next week, but now I give blood on the 18th and get the results earliest by the 27th. It’s also possible that it will be in the beginning of May. But as I said, doesn’t make much of a difference, I can wait.
The big advantage of doing this test is getting to know the baby’s sex much more accurately than in the ultrasound. And considering I last time went to Šois on week 12 to find out the gender and that cost me 185+ plus the tenner for the ultrasound pictures, I would’ve wanted to know the sex of the baby that early this time too and would’ve had to pay the 200 anyway. And well, if we divide the rest 400 between the 7 months then the monthly cost is not bad at all to pay for your peace of mind. But yes, depends on your budget and wishes. A lot of people don’t want to do any tests and I didn’t want to either with the last pregnancy. Or, if we’re honest, I just didn’t know anything about this test.
So I will find out the gender of the baby in the beginning of May. Cool! I could never do the “surprise” thing, just never :D! I am too impatient. I want to think of the name and be prepared. And lucky for me I wouldn’t be disappointed either way – it doesn’t matter. When I was expecting Mari I really wanted a girl – and I got one. With Lende I think I wanted a boy at first, but just because I didn’t have one yet. But now I look at my two daughters and think that three would be fine too. I am as happy if it’s a third girl or my first boy. Be what is may!
However, it is getting rather annoying to hear the “lets hope it a boy this time!” talk. I don’t know what is so wrong with my daughters that everyone is rooting for it to be a boy. I will just say that it feels awful, like my girls are super unpleasant and disgusting people that half of Estonia is praying for this witch family to finally have a boy to bring them salvation :D Honestly – I don’t care and neither does Kardo, but if we could choose we’d have a girl. Like out of habit.
I have given the name topic this much thought that I will be smarter this time and give my child only one first name, because considering I have never called Mari Johanna by her full name (I think she doesn’t even know she also has Johanna as a middle name :D) and I have never called Lende Liis by her full name either, I guess it’s time to accept that one name per child is enough. But I can only think of girls names :D One name keeps haunting me, because I didn’t use it with Lende, because everyone except me hated it, but see, I still like it…
